Talah Khoury
Teacher of Science / Year 9 Class Teacher
Talah is a highly educated teacher with a strong academic background. She holds a master’s degree in Biochemical Engineering from the Slovak Technical University. In addition, she is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree within the Institute of Molecular Physiology and Genetics, Centre of Biosciences, Slovak Academy of Sciences.
She brings two years of valuable experience from her previous role at an international school, where she honed her teaching skills. During this time, she also obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from the University of Nottingham, specializing in international education. Her previous career has equipped her with a diverse skill set, allowing her to create engaging learning experiences for her students.
Outside of the classroom, Talah is an avid traveller and a true adventurer at heart. She finds great joy in exploring new cultures and immersing herself in different parts of the world. Every opportunity, especially during school holidays, is seized to embark on exciting travel adventures. This passion for travel not only broadens her own horizons but also enriches her teaching by bringing diverse perspectives into the classroom.
