Silvia Mahmoodová

Silvia holds a Master´s degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Masaryk University in Czech republic, a PhD degree from Comenius University and PGCE qualification from University of Zilina, in Slovakia.
Her career includes over 10 years of teaching experience in both secondary and higher education and further work in academic Medical/Biomedical Research. She actively participated in many international and domestic conferences, workshops, and seminars. She is an author as well as a co-author of several research papers. Silvie believes knowledge is power, but to benefit from it, one must know how to use it. She stresses the importance of the teacher bridging between teaching, science, and research because the boundaries between them are minimal.
She advises that a successful student should be humble and always ready to observe, listen, think and collaborate. She is constantly striving to maximize her potential through excellence and inspire others to do the same.
