Juraj Pavlovič
Teacher of Maths
Juraj is a versatile educator experienced in formal and informal environments, including an international setting and boarding element. He obtained his teaching degree at the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics, and Informatics at the Comenius University in Bratislava, whilst already teaching Mathematics and Physics at the LEAF Academy, an international boarding school in Bratislava.
Before that, he was project manager for the NGO P-mat supporting primary school students talented in Math and Physics. His experiences taught him to adapt and stay level-headed in fast-changing environments, i.e., in the world of today. His motto, coined by a former student, is: "You treat us as adults and equals while kindly understanding that we just yet are not."
Outside of work, Juraj is passionate about sports, especially mountaineering. In his free time, he enjoys playing the piano and never says no to a good film.
