John Lowe
Deputy Head of Secondary
John is originally from the East Midlands in England. He completed a degree in Literature and went on to complete a PGCE at the University of Nottingham. He taught in Nottinghamshire for three years before moving to Qatar where he spent seven years as Head of English at Park House English School. He believes that both English Language and English Literature are highly facilitating subjects, providing students not only with a lifelong love of reading but transferable skills which they can take into any walk of life. He desires to use his skills as a teacher to help young people enjoy their learning and achieve their full potential. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, playing badminton, reading and spending time with his wife and two children. He also loves travelling and is looking forward to discovering more of Slovakia and its neighbouring countries.
