Jason Henthorn

Teacher of Humanities / Year 9 Class Teacher

Jason trained to teach at the Manchester Metropolitan University where he received his Postgraduate Certificate in Education. He has a specialist Honours degree in Sociology and Social Anthropology from the University of Hull and has taught students from ages 7-16 both in UK and international schools.

Throughout his international career, Jason has taught in Japan, Spain, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia. For the past six years he has been a member of the Cambridge International School team, teaching English and Humanities, and being a Form Tutor. Jason believes that inspiring students to become lifelong learners is a teacher’s primary task.

He enjoys collecting and using old film cameras, supporting Manchester United and trying his best to learn Slovak.
