Thomas Hawkey
Year 5 Class Teacher
Tom holds a BA (hons) degree in Psychology from the University of Liverpool. He obtained his Postgraduate Certificate in Education in 2012 and a Master's degree in teaching in 2015, both from the University of Leeds.
Tom has over 15 years’ experience in education, including 9 as a Primary school teacher. He has taught using both the English and Scottish curricula in schools in England, Scotland Thailand, and Slovakia. Tom believes that learning should be an active, engaging and enjoyable experience. He is passionate about the power of Drama to teach children to be confident, creative and cooperative.
Away from the classroom, Tom enjoys a wide range of hobbies including travel, hiking and cookery.
