Petra Homolová
Year 3 Assistant Teacher
Petra completed a degree in early childhood education at the Pedagogical and Social Academy of Saint Laura, Trnava. While working in the childcare centre in London, she completed a number of Ofsted accredited courses, including a Paediatric First Aid Certificate, a course on healthy eating for children and common core skills for childcare-takers training.
For over 15 years, Petra has worked as a nanny for families in England and Austria. While working in London, she worked as a private art tutor at the Katrine Low Settlement school, Battersea; a vocation that brought her two passions: children and art together. Petra has a keen eye for photography and enjoys yoga. Additionally, art has played a big part in Petra’s life, through painting and sketching.
She further enjoys hiking, swimming, and exploring the countryside on her bike with her 6-year-old daughter, Emma. Petra originally joined the Cambridge International team as a playground assistant in September, 2022. Now, she returns to CIS as Assistant Teacher for Year 3 students.
