Michaela Jurná
Year 2 Assistant Teacher / Assistant Teacher Coordinator
Michaela obtained her university degree in the Preschool and Primary Pedagogy study programme. Whilst studying, she began teaching English to children and adults and became a lecturer of the Callan method in a language school.
This job became her great hobby which she practiced and perfected for 13 years. After her studies, she spent several years in the UK on and off and worked in various industries including teaching, business, services, and administration. After returning to Slovakia, she finally began to devote herself fully to teaching and realised that this is her main professional mission in life. Over the past 7 years she has worked at the British International School, Cambridge International School and Quality Schools International, and she is delighted to re-join the CIS family.
Michaela cannot imagine her life without music, dancing, singing and friends. She also enjoys reading and travelling in her spare time.
