
Martina Mulrooney
Year 2 Class Teacher
Martina holds a BA in ELT & Linguistics from the University of Sussex in England and a PGCE in Primary Education from Roehampton University in England. Furthermore, she has an MA in Special Education from Comenius University in Slovakia. Originally from Slovakia, she has spent the last 27 years living and teaching abroad, working in diverse international schools across England, Kuwait, Oman, Georgia, India, Cuba, Uzbekistan, and now Kazakhstan.
Specialising in teaching lower primary children, she embraces project-based, student-centered approaches that make learning hands-on, engaging, and relevant. She loves helping young learners connect their knowledge to real-world experiences, fostering creativity, curiosity, and a sense of wonder.
Outside of teaching, she enjoys exploring new destinations, getting lost in a good book, playing team sports, spending time with animals, experimenting in the kitchen, and delving into Feng Shui and natural living.
