Luke Mottram
Head of Primary
Luke graduated from the University of Central Lancashire with a degree in Sports Studies before completing a PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education) at Manchester Metropolitan University. He has since completed a Master’s Degree in Education (Leadership & Management) at the University of Derby.
Luke‘s career in education began at St. Anne’s Catholic Primary School, an outstanding-rated school in Nantwich, UK. However, a desire to travel and explore the world led him to China, where he led the Foreign Teaching Team as the Foreign Head of the Primary School at Kang Chiao International School outside Shanghai. As the Head of the Primary School at CIS, Luke loves supporting and inspiring teachers and students to be the very best version of themselves. Encouraging a positive, 'can do' approach and attitude is central to Luke's pedagogical approach.
Luke is passionate about sports outside the classroom, including football and tennis. He enjoys travelling, learning about other cultures, and trying new foods.
