Katarína Poláková

Katarina graduated from Comenius University in Bratislava in the specialism of Primary teaching. She continued expanding her knowledge during a two-year course about Montessori pedagogy in Vienna. She applied such practical teaching skills at a Montessori Primary school where she taught for six years.
The philosophy of international schools became very close to Katarina while living abroad for 11 years. Katarina actively participated in different international schools in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, and Hungary. After coming back to Slovakia, Katarina continued teaching at a public Primary school in Bratislava for three years.
She enriched her knowledge from courses about managing pupils with health issues, specific learning needs and social, emotional, and behavioural problems within the school environment. Katarina enjoys traveling, hiking, dancing, and spending time with her family and friends.
