Jana Burcinová
Teacher of Slovak / Head of Slovak
Jana obtained her Master's degree in teaching at the University of Prešov. She was trained specifically in Early Primary Education. She also worked abroad in London for seven years, where she received a certificate from the University of Cambridge in ESOL Examinations (English for Speakers of other Languages).
From there, she went on to study teaching for special education schools at the University of Prešov. She has gained eleven years of experience in the education system. Due to her creative skills, she actively participates in folk groups, has managed school folk clubs, organised folk dance and folk singing competitions and enjoys bringing music into the classroom.
Outside of school, Jana spends most of her time with her family. She also enjoys playing the violin, reading books, travelling and keeping fit.
