Iveta Molnar
Teacher of Slovak
Iveta graduated with a degree in primary education (1 - 4) from the Constatine the Philosopher University in Nitra.
She worked as a Grade 3 and 4 Class Teacher prior moving to Canada
for 14 years where she recertified at UBC (University of British
Columbia) in Vancouver and taught Grades K – 7. Fascinated by local
multiculturalism, she began teaching English to immigrants and refugees
as a volunteer later as a qualified teacher for Continuing Education. In
2004, she received her TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other
Languages) certificate. After returning to Slovakia (2013), she taught
primary classes in both state and bilingual schools. With younger
students she especially enjoys reading fairy tales and developing their
written and oral communication.
She believes that effective language skills pave the way to good relationships and success. Iveta enjoys astronomy, cycling in the forest, painting, crosswords and playing online Escape Room Games.
