Dorota Skonecka-Dreliszek
Year 2 Class Teacher
Dorota was born and raised in Poland, where she obtained her Master’s degree in Pre-school and Primary Teaching from Silesian University. Her passion for traveling and exploration brought her to England, where she lived for over 20 years and gained TEFL Level 5 (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate.
She started her teaching career in London at an independent primary school, working as a Class Teacher for 16 years. During this time, she taught from Foundation Stage to Year 2 and took on various roles that contributed to her development as an accomplished primary school teacher. After returning to Poland, Dorota began teaching English to children and adults and became a lecturer of the Callan & Direct Method at a language school. She also worked as an online tutor, providing educational support in English and Maths to KS1 and LKS2 students in England.
Dorota believes her primary goal as a teacher is to instil self-confidence in her students, as it is essential for building healthy relationships, achieving academic and professional success, and overcoming life’s challenges. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family and their rescue dog, Zaky.
