Anne Kolarov
Year 4 Class Teacher
Anne is from the Pacific Northwest near Seattle, USA. She attended Hampshire College, where she received a B.A. in coastal ecology and policy. She returned to Bellingham, Washington to complete her master’s degree in biology, once again focusing on marine habitats.
Her teaching experience began as a Science Education Associate at the Pacific Science Center in Seattle. Subsequently, she taught at University Child Development School (UCDS) as a resident teacher in the upper primary. She then relocated to Pittsburgh, PA, to teach Earth Science at The Ellis School, a private all girls’ school. Since moving to Slovakia, Anne has taught at several local international schools as a primary classroom teacher.
She earned a postgraduate certificate in education (PGCE) from University of Nottingham, UK. Anne strives to foster curiosity, kindness, questioning, and tenacity in her classroom.
