Adriana Kipczaková
Year 3 Assistant Teacher
After graduating from the Business Academy in Bratislava, Adriana went to the wide world to explore it. She settled for one decade in Oxford, United Kingdom, where she earned a BA (Hons) in Tourism combined with Spanish and a year later received a MIB in Management and Marketing from Oxford Brookes University.
After graduating from university, she discovered her passion for teaching. Her journey began in 2012 when she earned her CELTA certificate and worked as an English language teacher's assistant at Oxford and Cherwell Valley College, helping refugees and foreigners. In 2013, she volunteered for the Chilean government’s "The English Opens Doors" project in the Atacama Desert, marking the start of her six-year life in Chile. There, she gained valuable experience in both informal and formal education, but her greatest success was as a class teacher at the prestigious Colegio Universitario Antonio Rendic for two years before returning to Slovakia. She cherishes this time as it allowed her to integrate her knowledge of pedagogy and yoga, which she teaches and lives by. Since returning in 2019, Adriana has continued her mission as an English teacher.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, dancing Latin dances, self-development, yoga, and meditation. She believes her global experiences will greatly benefit our school and looks forward to joining the CIS community.
